Shipping Policy

You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase alcoholic beverages. By placing your order you have represented to Amitié Wines that you are at least 21. All shipments of alcoholic beverages require an adult’s (at least 21 years of age) signature upon delivery.

We are happy to ship your order on the date that works best for you. Feel free to let us know in the order notes on the checkout page, or send Jason an email: Jason.Berry@AmitieWines.com.

All wines are sold in California and title passes to buyer in California. We make no representation as to the legal right of anyone to ship or import wines into any state or country outside of California. By placing an order with us, you authorize us to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to you. If you wish to ship to another state, you assume all responsibility for determining whether you may lawfully import alcoholic beverages into that state.

Pre-arrival wines

Pre-arrival wines are not available for immediate shipment; we can provide you with estimated arrival times for particular wines by email. Please contact us for more information.

Our shipping methods

FedEx Ground: Competitively priced service that provides delivery to every U.S. business address in 1 to 5 business days. Adult signature required upon delivery.

FedEx Home Delivery: FedEx Home Delivery is a competitively priced service that provides delivery to every U.S. residential address in 1 to 5 business days. Adult signature required upon delivery. With FedEx Home Delivery you also get:

  • An expanded delivery window — 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Standard Saturday delivery at no extra cost.
  • Convenient delivery options to accommodate your recipients’ busy schedules, including delivery by appointment, in the evening and on a certain date.

Please take care to provide a correct shipping address. FedEx charges a $10 penalty per package for address corrections, which will also be billed back to the customer. Also consider using a business address or arrange to be at home when FedEx arrives to ensure your wine is delivered properly.

GSO Standard Next Day (CPS): Golden State Overnight (GSO) is a regional next-day package delivery specialist. Its standard CPS service provides guaranteed next-day delivery by 5pm to all California addresses, as well as to most major metro areas in Arizona and Nevada; includes Saturday deliveries at no additional charge. Adult signature required upon delivery.
