Below are several photos from a chilly day in late November wandering around the Beaune Saturday market.
Late November means pumpkins, butternut squash, leeks and other winter greens, garlic and onions. Most of the restaurants we visited in the area including Caves Madeleine, Le P’tit Paradis & Le Chassagne in Chassange-Montrachet had pumpkin or butternut squash soups offered on their menus as starters.
Around the corner in the direction of Notre-Dame de Beaune, you will find the rotisserie truck & other prepared foods.
